Minoesch Beeldstroo is fascinated by the way form and material influence how we experience an object. Driven by a fascination for porcelain, she creates objects in which organic forms, tactility and attention to detail come together.
Her work is inspired by forms found in nature and moves between the functional and the sculptural. She explores how an object can become part of everyday life while also having a presence of its own within a space.
Porcelain forms an important starting point in her work. The qualities of the material allow her to experiment with form, translucency, texture and light. From functional objects and tableware to lighting and sculptural pieces, each design emerges from a search for a natural balance between form, material and function.
